Life stories of trans+ people have something special about them: they fascinate and move us, open up new perspectives and give strength, especially when they are told by trans people themselves. Would you like to express your life story in a creative way, in a group with other trans+ people? Then join the Life Stories Workshop this autumn in Ghent!

What do we mean by ‘life story’?

A life story is exactly what it says: a story you tell about your life. In this workshop we focus on the theme of gender (identity) and the role it plays, or has played, in your life. You can talk about your whole life, but also about one part of it or several pieces. You decide! Besides presenting your own life story, you’ll also listen to those of the other participants, which in our experience creates a strong sense of connection.
